Introduction

The team at M3 have contacts at a wide range of Equity Fund providers in both the City of London and Regionally based. We are prepared to consider both institutional investment as well as high net worth individuals who are prepared to invest either alone or on a syndicated basis.

Ideally we would specialise in investment opportunities between the range of £500,000 to £5 million in UK owned companies and helping entrepreneurial management teams to achieve substantial gains for all shareholders.

We are looking for opportunities across a very broad range of industries and sectors financing expansion and acquisition and we specialise in backing management buy–outs (MBOs).  

Investment Criteria

We are seeking investment opportunities which offer attractive growth potential and will consider assisting new start businesses that has evidence of a balanced, talented management team with integrity, determination, focus and the capacity to significantly grow their business.

M3 seeks investment opportunities as follows:

Business:

We consider both new and established businesses operating in most commercial and industrial sectors. Whilst our criteria are flexible it would be unusual for us to seek investment for companies that were projecting to be unprofitable and a turnover of less than £2 million annual turnover.

Size:

We can advise on investments which require up to £10 million equity although most assignments are in the range of £500,000 to £6 million.

We will advise businesses located throughout the UK.

Characteristics:

We like companies that have a clear and sustainable advantage in their markets.

Ambition:

We look for balanced, experienced management teams committed to growing their businesses to create and realise significant shareholder value.

Relationship:

We are an experienced team looking to build close, long term relationships and who like to continue to offer active support post investment.
